Hi There. Welcome to The Stylish Fix. We’re Megan and Noah, and we’ve created this site to bring a fresh spin on home design and home improvement.
We’ve been friends since elementary school and we both got into the world of websites, social media and the internet. We also both love design and we always have enjoyed talking to each other about interior design, home decor, and home improvement.
We both shop online, especially for things for our home. We love finding beautiful, high quality products at a great price and we both hate the feeling of ordering something and finding out that it’s poor quality or not as expected. We compare notes with each other a lot, and we’ve decided to turn that into a public conversation with you. As we shop, we’ll share what we find. We’re going to compare products, review products, share deals, and tell you where to find the best prices on furniture and decor for our home.
Megan’s noticed that a lot of home improvement blogs and stores are targeted at men and one of her goals with this site is to provide a woman’s spin on things, so we’re also going to try and review tools and other home improvement projects. We’re also going to come up with some great project ideas.
Megan is a stay at home mom who works part time as an internet marketing consultant. Noah recently sold his yacht design business and is searching for another opportunity – maybe The Stylish Fix can become our full time job! On that note we have a disclosure to make: we’re also going to try and find ways for this site to generate income for us. One way we intend to do that is through affiliate commissions and advertising. When you click certain links on our website, we may receive a commission or payment from the merchant or advertiser. Having said that, our number one goal is to create great content and we’ve made a promise to ourselves and to our readers that we are only going to recommend products that we ourselves would buy.
